This past August, Professor Jackson presented to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board on males in college.
The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, abbreviated as THECB, oversees all post-secondary education in the state as an agency of the Texas state government.
The presentation, titled “Meeting the Needs of Males: Education as a Pathway to the U.S. Workforce,” can be watched in its entirety on YouTube here. The presentation goes over opportunity spaces for historically underrepresented groups, college participation in black males and how a college education can enable males.
